For the Museum of the City, TEMA CREATIVE created an immersive exhibition that invites every visitor to become an artist—and explore how creative action can transform the urban environment. We mapped meaningful locations across the city, developed a pedagogical framework around art in public space, and collaborated with dozens of local painters, sculptors, and graffiti artists to build a unique library of original artistic fragments.

Visitors enter 3D-scanned urban environments through a network of 15 touchscreens, combining these fragments to create new site-specific works of their own. Their creations then move beyond the individual screen, appearing throughout the gallery and becoming shareable across digital platforms.

To keep the experience alive and evolving, TEMA also developed a dedicated backend system that allows the museum to independently add and update artworks, locations, artist profiles, and interpretive content throughout the exhibition’s lifetime.

Rooted in the museum’s iconic building and its significant place in the city’s history, the experience demonstrates TEMA’s ability to unite cultural research, community collaboration, spatial storytelling, and advanced interactive technology—giving visitors the tools to imagine, create, and make their own voices visible across the city.

Scope:  TEMA Creative delivered End-to-end delivery-from concept and spatial design to UX/UI, development, backend, AV integration, and ongoing support.
