Overview
Page to Page opens Fondation Maeght’s rare collection of Livre d’Artiste, artist books, to visitors in an entirely new way. The interactive experience provides intimate digital access to fragile works that cannot be physically handled due to their rarity and conservation requirements.
Featuring works by modern-art masters including Picasso, Matisse, Miró, Chagall, and Braque, the experience enables visitors to explore highly detailed 3D replicas and virtually turn the pages of each book.
TEMA Creative designed and developed the complete experience, combining exhibition design with advanced digitization, intuitive interaction, and long-term curatorial control within one scalable platform.
The Digital Experiences
Through an interactive touchscreen, visitors can explore each artist book page by page, revealing details that would otherwise remain hidden inside museum cases. High-resolution 3D replicas preserve the physical qualities of the original books while creating a natural and engaging sense of interaction.
TEMA also developed a dedicated curatorial management system that allows museum staff to update the experience as books rotate in and out of the exhibition. Curators can create and publish new 3D books, manage information in French and English, revise content, and evolve the experience without additional software development.
The platform extends the life and flexibility of the exhibition while making some of the world’s most valuable cultural artifacts more accessible.
